The Moo Cows have three players who have been with Murfreesboro since League VI in 2035. These guys have played in at least 1 game at all six levels:

Ricardo Quiroz
Darryl Malloy
Jose Bonilla

It seems very unusual to get an appearance at every level. Are there other players that could be added to this list?

I have at least one in my team history. I started in V, though.

Thanks for the answers! This is a fun list to be on!

The Moo Cows just added Jeremiah Howard, which gives him a YAHTZEE-BINGO! Boom! All six levels! Give him a biscuit!

It looks like he's been held hostage by the minor league team for like 30 years... Someone should alert the authorities about this

Brent Cohen loves what he does & is saddened by all the ageism. :( Retirement would be a death sentence. He wanted to personally appeal to hurstdm, g10rsh, Brewnoe, & ESac, but doesn't understand the internet. What he does understand is throwing a baseball, waiting for the bullpen phone, and Hulkamania. He pitches every spring training plus regularly appears at the big league level. Just days ago he was the scheduled #4 starter. (unfortunately that series turned out to be only 3 games, but that wasn't his fault!)

Baring disaster, he really is due for a big league start or 2 this season to mark the 40th anniversary of his debut! Said Brent, "They can measure my skills, but they can't measure my heart. Well technically they can, & it's slightly enlarged, but you know what I mean." We do know what you mean Brent.

Oh & to answer the movie question, Bent Cohen appeared in the film Mystic Pizza, though was credited under a different name. "Now you're on the trolley," as Brent likes to say.

Cohen dazzled in his first big league appearance of the season. Giving up only a single run over his first 2 innings vs the mighty Boulder Free Zoners!!

Said one onlooker, "Mooo-ve over Tsuyoshi Iwasa, there's a new ace in town. And he's know as 'Lefty'." To which Iwasa later replied, "そうですね。"

Of course he then gave up 3 runs in his next 0 innings ;)

I think he should be dubbed the Halfling slayer and pitching strictly against teams with undersized mascots.

The Moo Cows shouldn't let Iwasa talk to the media. He's a bit surly.

Stealth edit: Oh yeah, Daniel Robbins is in this club. I hadn't noticed 'til now. Get in, buddy!

I picked up Holly during my second full season as owner of the then Brookings Bison and he continued with the team through the entire ride from 6 to Legends. Main position was Middle reliever. Occasionally would spot start. His numbers were not flashy but he did maintain a WHIP around 1 through the team's ascending years. There is something valuable in a guy that can consistently come in at the 5th inning pitch 2 or 3 innings while only allowing 2 or 3 base runners then hand off to setup and closer.
The Holguin Bar sits right next to our Hall of Fame above left field and features memorabilia from all across the teams storied history.

Pak joined the team in L5 but came from a L6 Chine Dragon team so he qualifies. He was a solid LF with a great mix of power and speed.

Juan Carlos Beniquez

I picked him up in League 5, he's moved up to league 2 with me.He played for Broomfield in Legends in 2038 the season before i got him and hit .192. He played for Arlington Heights in 2037 in League VI. Great defense at SS but we use him at 2b and 3b when needed as well as Catcher and OF. He's my Super Utility guy.

Thanks for the instructions afreespirit!

Cheng Tsai for me tonight became the first Hawks player to have played in all 6 divisions, 5 through 1 for the Hawks, and 2 games in division 6 for the Tucamcari Generals.

Also, though he isn't a player, our Manager Ismael Uribe has managed teams in all 6 divisions too. Again 5 for the Hawks and stints with 3 teams in division 6.

I would like to thank this thread for introducing us all to Brent Cohen. He is by far the most interesting player I have ever seen on this game.

His stat profile in 2007 was incredibly impressive. Pitched more than 300 innings total and had a WHIP at about 1. He threw 7 shutouts! There was a 15% chance when he stepped on the mound he would go all 9 innings and you weren't scoring a run.

Anyone else notice his 97 STARTS season at age 33 in LL2!? He pitched almost 540 innings and still had an ERA less than 3.65! He won the Cy Young! I am not concerned about this man pitching into his 60s, he is clearly a machine.

If I later drop back down to D6, Cohen will have completed another cycle of appearing at all 6 levels.

And a big shout-out to Cohen for striking out a beast like Jesús "Salva" Lauzerique with 18 hitting and 20 power yesterday. http://brokenbat.org/player/182970 "Salva" has 12 PD & 12 bat control too, so it's not like Cohen struck out some otherwise undisciplined lout.

It should be noted that Cohen has now struck out a batter in 5 different decades!

After being a big part of Boston moving from LL 6 to LL2, Jessie Roe was a 1 claim waiver pick up for Moore and earned World Series co-MVP honors.

Nice to still see Cohen going. Some things change, but Cohen remains. Him getting a strikeout in five separate decades is what prompted me to login and respond.

Bringing the thread back from the dead, as homegrown stalwarts Min Kyu Jeng, Lorenzo Aranda and Zhen Cheung, and aging mercenary Brent Conte will join the club as soon as they appear for the Park Rangers this season.

Shout out also to Eric Gannon, Aramis Tejada, Sean Ferretti, and Cam Wagner, all of whom were cut during pre-season, but still have the "1" on their profiles.
