Aug 29 2049: Storming the league? - by Krakonico on March 28th, 2021

Cincinnati.- After several seasons struggling among leagues between the fifth and sixth level of the league pyramid system, the Cincinnati Stormtroopers are leaders of their group. The team's owner "Krakonico" is basing his expectation in the Cincinnati Farm System (CFS).

The CFS is made up from four teams, actually, in the Ohio State: Lore City Soldiers, Rookie League; Verona Cavaliers, Class A; Coolville Knights, Class AA; and Attica Templars, Class AAA.

Mason Byrnes, 2047 class, has been given the task of closing games this season, and is nailing the league with 33 saves to this moment. Laurence Greer, also a 2047 class, has been promoted to starter from the bullpen, and got an "All Star" call. Jordan Kellogg and Hal Shank, class 2049, have been promoted this years to work in the bullpen in order to gain experience, but their eyes are in the starting role.

In the CFS there are several players that will be the future of the organization, among them are Kendall Schmidt, in the AAA team, he is a rare type of someone who can bat with his left hand, but can throw with his right one, he'll be playing in the Short Stop position, and is batting .297 with 43 HRs in his time in the minors. He may be ready for the 2050 or 2051 season. There are three more prospects with "star" caliber potential, but they are young and still in A class and the rookie league. We will talk about them later.
