Hopefully we can continue to build on that the rest of the way. The biggest question is when Lujan gets called up, he's the future of our rotation. Couple of veteran bats doing very well, they'll need replacing next season, but there's always 34 year Olds wanting a home.... |

But terrible play throughout intra league let Salisbury take a commanding lead they never relinquished. Blacksburg offense will very similar next season the biggest departure being veteran 1b Hank Crist leaving. SS Garcia is, and will be the central focus for seasons to come. Castro will be promoted at some point next season as well. The pitching department received a big makeover throughout the season and will continue so through the off-season and into next season. Hopes are centered on Pratt and Carrasco, and a handful of hooefuls contributing to the team soon, being the major part of quality portion of Blacksburg's pitching is coming from the wrong side of 30 years old. Blacksburg's future doesn't look terrible, but it also doesn't look that exciting either. Next season will be the third season I'll be back with the team so a long road ahead getting the farm into shipshape is still to be expected.
