A 17 year old, 44 SI, 12 POT, with strike out pitcher, exceptional breaking ball, below average control, and very good overall potential. A 18 year old, 58 SI, 14 POT, with a fast ball comment (forgot which one), and can throw all day. Good overall potential. In the past I’ve often chose higher potential guys like the second player, and all have gone down a potential level and now I’m not sure how good they are. I didn’t want to make that mistake again and wanted to try out the guy with better comments this time, so I took Gonzalez. Do you guys think I made the right choice? I feel like the 14 will go down and the 12 will go up, so I’ll have the 13 with SI in better places, but I’ll follow the other guy and see how he develops. http://brokenbat.org/player/376242

amalric7 Joined: 01/20/2016 Posts: 2259 New York Lancers IV.2	@Fireballer - some GMs have had success with pitchers who have control issues, plenty of us have had none. Case in point! I would have taken the other guy in this instance, because sometimes those guys pop or stay where they are. College pool has thrown me some gems recently and today was no exception, even with the pool already below 80% full when I picked.
