Two above average and two good. I went for a position of need as Kline is getting older...http://brokenbat.org/player/101231 yeesh. Maybe he'll be a bridge to Kline's replacement.

Holmes Joined: 11/07/2013 Posts: 1175 Inactive | Looks like nobody is really excited about their picks so far... me neither. Three candidates had "good overall potential". One was a pitcher where the rest of the scouting didn't sound too good, so it came down to one pitcher and one position player. Picked the pitcher because I have few in my farm at the moment - and "unhittable" and "exceptional" are nice trigger words, too. Sal Bradshaw http://brokenbat.org/player/101218 is 12p, could possibly become an acceptable lefty specialist but nothing more. Not exactly what I was hoping for with my first pick from the refilled draft pool. Originally, I was planning to take an international player, but this time around, that draft pool appears to be even smaller than last season (when it was only half as large as 2019). Quite a pity, really. International players add some color to the game. |

So after waiting a near eternity for a draft pick to help my noob team we go college and find... 5 trash prospects, chose a good potential pitcher, he had 11 potential and 53 SI You can find him on the waiver wire if you want him..lol..time to fire the scouts and save some cash! |

Rock777 Joined: 09/21/2014 Posts: 9602 Haverhill Halflings III.1 | I've never seen a drafty who looked major league ready like Landry does. I'd still give him a little time in the minors to develop, but he could probably perform respectably already at LL-6. Low speed and low fielding should mean more points to his batting skills. The high range and Arm are a bit of a waste, but if he gains a couple more points in Fielding he could be passable as a backup 3B, with a primary role at DH.

dwindacatcher Joined: 04/03/2014 Posts: 633 Inactive | Train Landry in OF. With his fielding you want him nowhere near the infield. With OF you might play him there, but obviously you probably don't want to. Your roster might make it so you have to. As for my draft, I got nothing. Took the best of a bad group and he wasnot even worth a waiver claim for a rebuilding team with 30 guys on the roster. |
