Very good potential was the only one I had so I took him over a pitcher that was just good.

Kinda weird how week 1 of the draft brings mid rounds talent. I guess that means more gems for next week.

Pretty happy with mine, I think possibly he'll end up more as 2B, but both my middle infield positions are getting on a bit, I'll take either!

I got 2 good players, one pitcher and one hitter.

Since i need more arms than bats, i picked Rafael McCullough.

12 potential but he's 17 and he has low fielding skills, so I'll keep him

Is it lame to feel good about Mike Landry here?
13 POT 3B, plus $***ty fielding, I see a All Star DH.

I've never seen a drafty who looked major league ready like Landry does. I'd still give him a little time in the minors to develop, but he could probably perform respectably already at LL-6. Low speed and low fielding should mean more points to his batting skills. The high range and Arm are a bit of a waste, but if he gains a couple more points in Fielding he could be passable as a backup 3B, with a primary role at DH.

Train Landry in OF. With his fielding you want him nowhere near the infield. With OF you might play him there, but obviously you probably don't want to. Your roster might make it so you have to.

As for my draft, I got nothing. Took the best of a bad group and he wasnot even worth a waiver claim for a rebuilding team with 30 guys on the roster.

Mine were all average potential except 1 good pot. Which I picked and waved.

I don't know where all the good prospects are supposed to come from. The highest potential I've ever gotten in a guy was a 12. I thought week 1 would be better.
