Ken_Kennilworth Joined: 11/26/2019 Posts: 417 Charleston Hawks Legends	Are always placed as hitting coach, and then each coach is pushed down one position on the list until the open position is filled. it's happened twice to me, neither time was i replacing a hitting coach looks like a bug Updated Saturday, September 18 2021 @ 12:43:50 am PDT

Ken_Kennilworth Joined: 11/26/2019 Posts: 417 Charleston Hawks Legends	don't know for sure but i believe the limit is 1 coach per day--that is just a guess i changed out the first coach while it was still Saturday on the west coast...then a couple hours later, when it became Sunday there, i was able to change another can't change out any more now, although i keep trying every few hours

nemesis Joined: 07/06/2016 Posts: 136 Brooklyn Dodgers II.2	I promoted my pitching coach to manager, and got the following message on a white screen:- Array ( [id] => 5592 [to_replace] => 3690 [assistant] => 0 [description] => coach_promotion ) The change went through anyway but I had to click Back Page to get away from it. I also didn't expect the AI to automatically fill my coaching vacancy, which it did, with someone I didn't choose.

"In order to prevent stockpiling of the best coaches, only one coach can be hired per calendar day." B. If you fire a coach (without a replacement) in Hardwood, a random guy is selected so you dont have a vacancy. Not sure it should be that way if you replace a guy with a guy

admin Joined: 01/27/2010 Posts: 5019 Administrator	At present, the coaching role assignment are automatic (and close to optimal). I am working on a manual assignment mode. If you promote a coach to manager, it will automatically assign a coach to your staff. But you can replace him immediately. It's just to prevent teams from not having enough coaches.
