Who is the one prospect on your team that had you the most excited, who wound up being a disappointment. For me it was this guy.

He was already in the minor league system when I took the team over, but the 15 pot, and eye popping power rating had me excited to watch him develop. He had a couple of good minor league seasons, but was always very streaky. Now he's on his second team at age 25, and has yet to put up even a halfway decent season.

This guy destroyed minors pitching, but we could not find ABs for him. Seems to have pieced together a great 2051 elsewhere.

Daniels.

He only had "good" hitting, so we weren't expecting a star. But the 30 HR he hit in AAA in '36 was well beyond anything we'd seen before. With that pop and good OF defense he got lots of rope, but did nothing with it.

He was a 14 POT at first, I was super excited about him. But then he dropped to 13 POT, he sucked in the minors, and then he sucked in the majors. Now he can’t make it in AAA for a LL VI team somewhere else.

Recent/active division - Reggie Wallace started out as a 14pot 1st rounder. He dropped to 13 and got his SI stuck at a 12 pot level. Still a serviceable LR/spot-starter. Not sure if he would have developed more if I had been as desperate for pitching as I was during the Dan Haines years.

Special mention -
Arturo Tafoya was an instacut 4th round 13pot with no hitting comment, but he went unclaimed and 2 weeks later I had an extra roster spot before the training update so I called him back. Turns out that was the update when flexible pot became a thing and he popped to a 15 !!!!! (still the only player I've seen double pop his pot - insert marijuana joke here)
Took 5 years of slow progress and regression to 13pot before I had to sing "Oh no, Guadalajara won't do"

How about a 121 SI guy that can't hit.

Do you think his defense justifies a spot in the lineup? I have been playing him at CF. I am trying to decide if I should move on from him at this point since it seems I need to rebuild.

Similar with my 118 SI SS. He is a still young but is done improving. He at least can hit some homers http://brokenbat.org/player/253229
