This season is set up for drama.

I won a game earlier in which my team got one hit. In our half of the 4th, Bloody Tigers got a hbp, a walk an error and a double in some order for 2 runs. Those were the only players I had on base the whole game. I think we won 2-1. Sorry to whoever one hit us lol.

Last night we lost 3 games in a row 4-3.

I normally don't see that it matters but this year we have been cleaning up at home, not so much on the road.

I've got holes on offense and pitching I'd like to fill but I'm really unimpressed with what is available on the waiver/free agent market.

Plus, my drafting has been atrocious.

I'm trying to convince myself Pierre is all smoke and mirrors. Killing it at home, losing record on the road. 19, 1-run wins (say that 5 times fast). But you can't say their formula isn't working.

C'mon Phillies. Come back to the pack!

Hehe, going to use those illusionary smoke and mirrors till no one knows what's happening or Pierre chokes on the smoke.

Pierre's run differential is lower largely due to a few games lost in the double digits. Quite damaging.

Sandoval "General Bolivar" started off the second half of the season in his usual fashion, showing why he's a two time MVP. He's injected some life into this limpid lineup over the past several series. And bullpen ace Hudson Hawky has showed some improvement after receiving a short AAA assignment to get his priorities straight. Bullpen could really use some stability.

Interesting that no one made a big move during cross-division play. In my experience, I fell like I see at least one club make a big move.

West
Irvine: 37-23 (best of either division)
Burbank: 27-33
Littleton: 28-32
Oceanview Woods: 29-31
Belleville: 29-31
Kodiak: 25-35

East
Pierre: 35-25
Kalamazoo: 35-25
Bloomington: 33-27
Brooklyn: 35-25
High Point: 26-34
Salisbury: 21-39

I note the improvement of Brooklyn. They were bottom two with some very cold bats when we played them the first time. By the time of penultimate series they had made a move and were nearing .500

Good lord! Pierre is gaining more wins than run differential.....

When the team decides not to show up, everything turns to ashes. Lol.

Kalamazoo wins 5-4
Pierre wins 15-1
Kalamazoo wins 5-4

That seems upside down for this season

And Irvine crushed us in the second series of cross division.

There is one positive I'm hoping keeps up in my favor these last 50 games. I only have 19 games on the road and 31 at home.

We are under .500 on the road and around 2 out of 3 at home.

If that continues, we could have a strong finish.
