slugfest2015 Joined: 12/21/2014 Posts: 168 Inactive	What to do when your All-Star Closer with 32 saves this season blows (then loses) 2 in a row in the playoffs versus a team that recorded 14 wins less than you in regular season. I unassigned him for tomorrow's games, and if I make it to Thursday I might bring him back.

Tiger504 Joined: 06/17/2014 Posts: 1314 Kalamazoo Bloody Tigers III.4	It's probably an expression that either dates me or pegs me geographically, it means you came this far with him, don't quit on him now And the phrase is more correctly "dance with the one that brung ya" but I tried to clean it up grammatically lol

MukilteoMike Joined: 08/09/2014 Posts: 3294 Inactive	That's exactly what I'm doing and getting completely screwed. My stud reliever had a sub-2 ERA and WHIP well well under 1 for the season. Two blown saves with a 15.00 / 3.00 playoff destroying performance and I'm ready to eat somebody.

newtman Joined: 11/02/2013 Posts: 3343 Inactive	I've gotten to the point where I am extremely wary of guys performing exceptionally because I see them as ticking time bombs ready to regress at any moment. Then again I'm a pessimist.
