@JoeDaddy I don’t know if I’d throw “legendary” around, but I agree that seems like a rather good 3B prospect. Some people here have said that they value range greatly for a 3B. I don’t know if I agree with that yet. I’d rather have 7 range on an otherwise amazing 3B than have 14 fielding wasted on a C.

That said, let’s just randomly throw out these final projections, assuming he makes it to 103 SI:

19/13/9/9
11 speed
14/7/20

I would sign up for that good to real good hitting, decent fielding third baseman with a cannon for an arm in an instant. Or an excellent catcher who has a little too much talent wasted on his fielding.

My opinions only.

Congrats.

Jeff

Not a bad pull from the college pool. Pot 13 with positive hitting and slugging comments.

@joedaddy

He's a nice 3B, but in the end potential is what is most important in determining legendary ability.

 I would argue that what determines legendary ability is how well they do on the field. POT is not the be-all-and-end-all of stats, especially if you get one who never gets close to cap. Besides, I’ll take a 12 POT with the right scouting reports over a 14 POT with the wrong scouting report every time.

Yeah POT isn't really a strong indicator. I've cut POT 14s who never went anywhere, while I've had high performing POT 12s on my team.

Yea, also with him being a lefty it's got me hyped.. It should make up for some of his lacking POT.. I believe you can never have to many options to get a lefty in the game since we can have 17 POS players

What is it called when you get a talented prospect that you're sure will disappoint you? I feel like there needs to be a name for that.

I might start calling it Hilario
