In the WEST: Can Danville's ace pitcher Ross Buchanan rise to the next level and lead Danville to promotion? Or will Santa Barbara's ace, Neil Cassidy get the recognition he is due? Will Khalish Lin repeat as MVP for newcomers, Tombstone? Or will Santa Fe's Haneul Kim take his SIXTH MVP title in a row? Temple's stud prospect Andres Orosco is on the verge of joining the big squad. Will he pan out or be the next big bust? In Kaneohe, can former stud Ken Brett return to Cy Young form for their troubled franchise? In the EAST: Early season favorites, Bronx, are placing a heap of faith on ROTY winner "El Gordo" Arellano? Will he justify pre-season hype? In Chicopee, Walt Scalise looks to regain Cy Young form and dominate, can he? Can Camden's star, Norm Knight, pull off one more amazing season and help his team promote? Are Wingrove Lake's hopes in journeyman, Nicholas Rose, going to payoff? Can youngster, Benito Bello make Mobile's big squad? And make a difference? In Lexana, ageing veteran, Adrian Wallace is seeking his fifth Cy Young. Can he earn it and Lexana promote? |

Three pitchers, all projected starters for the major league roster, have been struck with significant injuries in spring training. Yamato Matsumoto was knocked out for two weeks and both Miguel Beltran and Francis Montovani landed on the 21-day DL. This troubling development sparked a team investigation and evidence was found that the Zombie's team trainer, Zach Mulder, was a college roommate with Colton Welch .... currently manager of the Bronx Athletics. The league is investigating. Since neither team can comment during the inquiry, we are left to speculate. Could Colton conspire, consider and connive a criminal catastrophe? We will remain patient, even as the mob outside league offices grows larger and larger. Are the Athletics this afraid? Time will tell. Updated Thursday, March 2 2017 @ 1:37:24 am PST |

Scalise has been super strong against lefties, other than that is there really many good pitchers..? About 4 good batters are key players: Porter, Song, Whiter, Callahan... Camden: last season relegated from Div4 with 71-89 record. Macaluso (skill index 122) being the key batter. Few really strong pitchers also, interesting to see how they play this year. Wingrove Lake: Last season 2nd, the owner has been there since feb 2013. Lefties Nagel and Matthews are the strongest batters. Quite young batting department.. Good pitching also. Fallows is packed with some serious skills but look how bad he has been underachieving. Where do Crowley sit, starter of relief? Mobile: last season managed to hold on to div 5 but this year, so long. Will be relegated. Lenexa: Rightie batting dangerous offense, Defese at least mediocre or better, few good pitchers but not too many. Relief bench looks ok. Wallace might not be in top two starters any more. Bronx: u tell me. Last time in Div 5 was shocking. I lead the league in mid season, then i just couldnt win games. I lost the last relegation-deciding game after leading it... I almost cried. Now, after one more frustrating season in Div 6 where there was no competition whatsoever, i will do every thing to keep up with good consistency, taking care of management, ending in top 3. |

Admittedly, I've been working in some younger pitching, and I finally released Beltran. After claiming him on waivers last season, he never really produced and his development shows some pretty large weaknesses ... On the super positive side, I may finally have a guy who can swipe a few bases ... Daniel West. |

I used to have same kind of pitcher http://brokenbat.org/player/93609 who never had a good season. In East, am still confident. Mobile has been overachieving. They will fall. Lenexa is my biggest competition with their good pitching. |

The most prolific offense through the first 50 belongs to the Bronx Athletics in the East. The most dominant pitchers belong to the Lenexa Titans, in the East. The Mobile Killer Bees, also in the East have the best record in one-run games. Santa Fe, West, has hit the most HRs Bronx, East, has earned the most BBs Wingrove Lake, East, has the most SBs Bronx has the highest OPS Tombstone, West, has the highest RISP Danville, West, has surrendered the fewest BBs Lenexa, East, and Temple, West, tied fewest HRs Tombstone, West, has lowest WHIP |

Good competition in both W and E. Tombstone being realy strong with Lin´s crazy average. I wonder when is going to get caught with steroids and cheating... :P In East, Lenexa is a major challenge for me. Am realy struggling with certain points of the game play here , and their pitching has been great for many seasons. Wingrove Lake will also fight for the first 3 positions. Mobile will still go down :P I prey god will send me a good RHP starter. after all star game edit: all east pitchers from Lenexa. Updated Wednesday, April 5 2017 @ 2:28:15 pm PDT |

Surprised Tombstone couldn't hold on to first. Sucks to lose the last 2 games like that to lose the division. Should be a good battle between Tombstone and Santa Barbara next season to see who plays the Bronx in the finals. Good luck to everyone next season. |

TheBa8e Joined: 02/26/2016 Posts: 32 Inactive | Tombstone Management Shakes Up Roster The Zombies are struggling offensively. Manager, Evil Evan Edwards, has announced the benching of first-baseman Jirō Horita despite winning Rookie of the Year last season. "He's struggling to see the ball and just plain ol' swinging too d**n hard," explained Evil. "We've decided to put Takeo Sakamoto [OF] back into the lineup and move him to the top of the order. Maybe gettin' an early look'll help him break out this season. Veteran Jesús Miranda, will assume first base duties, at least when facing RHP. In another stunning move, Khalish Lin, reigning three-time MVP is being benched against lefties. "The big guy got hit in the noggin during batting practice opening day," expands Evil. "He says he ain't seein' so good from the right side. Like his side-vision, periphi-whatever, is all blurry." In an effort to bolster the bullpen, Young Ja Heo and Francis Mantovani are giving up their starting spots in the hopes of nailing down a few more wins from 'pen. Recent vet acquisitions, Norm Walters and Pablo Navarro, have slid smoothly into the starting roles so far. "D***it-all! We ain't gonna stay down here in five [V.5] no more. We are bound and determined to do anything legal in our power to promote to LLIV. Thank you, that's all." There was plenty of buzz here at the OK Corral Press Conference and Public Relations Center, as Zombie management walked off the podium. You can be sure all eyes will be on the Zombies moving forward; or moving up? |

"July 26th, 2018 - Korea wins Classic! An 11th inning home run by Young Nam Kim clinched the World Classic Title for Korea over Puerto Rico. Korea has a strong run through the Netherlands, Canada, China, Venezuela and finally Puerto Rico led by the dominating pitching of Young Ja Heo (AKA “Darkness”) with 4 wins and a 2.56 ERA. Congratulations to Korea on their second WC title." We are glad to have been a part of it all!! |
