Press Releases:

Oct 30 2059: Amazing end to an amazing season - by Iceman cometh on May 23rd, 2023

The Mighty Hawks did not disappoint the Hawk faithful, four straight wins against the San Jose Warriors (a very good team with the league's best pitching staff). Hawk fans were celebrating well into the night. Tomorrow will definitely not be a productive day in Hackensack and the surrounding towns and cities. A phenominal end to an amazing season.

On to level IV for 2060.

Oct 10 2059: What a difference a season makes. - by Iceman cometh on May 19th, 2023

Last year at this time the Mighty Hawks were putting the finishing touches to a dismal year at level IV. .276 team batting avg, .264 team RISP avg, 63-97 win-loss record and a 5.59 team ERA. Now essentially with the same team at level V, we have a .290 team batting avg, .322 team RISP avg, 106-44 win-loss record (and still counting) and, a 3.86 team ERA. What a difference a season makes.

The Mighty Hawks have been dominant all year long, leading the division almost all year from start to finish. Hopefully we can cap off the season with a league playoff win but, in a short series, anything can happen and the San Jose Warriors are a very good team with a dominant pitching staff. Whatever happens happens but at least, the Hawks will be in level IV next year. Congratulations Hawks on a dominant season!

Nov 01 2056: Hackensack Mighty Hawks win the V.4 League championship! - by Iceman cometh on October 5th, 2022

Unbelievable finish to an up and down season.πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜Š The Hawks defeat the powerful Dragons (4 wins to 2 losses). Don't quite understand how the Hawks were able defeat the Dragon pitching but, the Hawk players rose to the task and did the impossible. I guess it's like they say, " It doesn't matter what you did during the year, it's what you do now". The Hackensack faithful will be celebrating late into the night as a result of this unexpected league championship. On to Level IV for 2057. Good luck to all for 2057!!!πŸ‘

Oct 22 2056: Bryan Hunter (aka Stormy) wins the Triple Crown!!!! - by Iceman cometh on October 2nd, 2022

With a .348 BA, 155 RBIs and 40 Hrs, the Hawks Bryan Hunter accomplishes one of baseballs rare feats, winning the league's Triple Crown. It was a career year topped off with a Division title.

The Hawks will need a total team effort if they hope to take down the Burnsville Dragons with the monstrous season they had (.738 winning %). Good luck to all and may the best team win the 2056 V.4 League title!

May 25 2051: Blazing season start for the Hawks, fans can't get enough! - by Iceman cometh on August 5th, 2021

Blazing hot season start for the Mighty Hawks. 11 straight home game sellouts. Hackensack fans can't get enough. Local vendors have set-up big screen TVs in the Stadium parking lot and stadium management have set out chairs. Hawk fans not able to buy game day tickets can at least see the game and share in the charged atmosphere of Mighty Hawks baseball. Go Hawks Go!!!!
