| It is not first come first serve. All unsigned players go into the waiver system to start the season. It's a big waiver frenzy, it's not uncommon to see players with 100+ claims on them. Typically there will be at least 3-4 days before any player's waiver date comes up, so you have plenty of time to get your claims in. | |||

| "Flash" Woodling just had his best season so far in terms of steals %, after losing a point of speed. Seems odd, though I'd hazard a guess he slowed SLIGHTLY his roll on stealing 3rd base. 113 steals, 9 caught. He's had slightly higher steal totals, but never a 93% success rate. Insane stuff.  |

| You will likely be able to put in claims by Saturday, but even if you wait until Sunday you will be fine, as players are up there for a few days. | |||

| Can't complain about those numbers. I'd assume you have him at ++? Because I bet he could do even better with a bit more aggression, but with that many stolen bases, you probably already maxed him. | |||

| I don't have any super stars, but I had three guys with fairly respectable numbers: Palmer 41 SB / 12 CS (set at " " on average) Hill 37 SB / 13 CS (set at ++ all year) Sierra 37 SB / 16 CS (set at "+" on average) Palmer was up at ++ by the end of the season. But he tends be very inconsistent. He went 41 / 18 last year on " ", and his percentage was really bad at the start. Given his age I actually had him a "-" for a while. But he got things together at the end of the season and went on a tear. Hill only has 13 speed, but he seems to have really good instincts. So I give him free reign. "Run anytime you think you can get the steal". Hill's best season was 48 / 12. And I'm not sure what happened to Ivan Puentes this season... He seemed to forget how to steal bases...
