Paradise Valley lead the way with 28-22 and Azusa bring up the rear at 22-28. At Rockford, we sit in 5th with 23 wins and 27 losses. We've felt like roughly a .500 team all year so far but, it seems, so has everyone else. Over in the East, it's more stretched out with, slightly depressingly, the bot team in Clarksville leading the way at 31-19, good enough for a 5 game lead over Newburgh. Best of luck to everyone for the rest of the season. |

Well, in the West, things have stretched out a bit from the congested table we saw for the first 50 games. Loveland have established a 4 game lead over Paradise Valley, who are a further 3 games ahead of Azusa. At Rockford, we sit in 4th, only out of the relegation places on Run Difference. In the East, it's the opposite, with things having tightened up. Clarksville still lead but Elyria have moved into 2nd, 3 games back, with Newburgh 1 further game behind in 3rd. Overall, the West have been dominating the matchups with the East, with a 103-77 record so far. They also took the All star game, coming from 4-0 down to win 7-6. 3 Rhinos were chosen to represent the West and it was 3 of our Dominican contingent who got the nod. For 1B Rodrigo Cabrera it was his 4th time but for 3B Mariano Rodrigues and pitcher Carlos Espinosa it was their first. It was perhaps a measure of the closeness of the league that all 12 teams were represented. Congratulations to those selected and best of luck to everyone in the 2nd half of the season. |

Well the East fought back to edge the 2nd half 92-88 but overall the West still took it by 191 games to 169. Looking at the standings, in the West Loveland have a 3 game lead over both Sioux Falls and Paradise Valley with Rockford 2 further games back and 5th place Azusa not entirely out of contention, only 7 games off the lead. In the East, Clarksville have built up an impressive 11 game advantage and look fairly safe. Sandy Springs and Pinellas Park both look in trouble, 14 games from safety. Best of luck to all for the final stretch. |

Clarksville have an 11 1/2 game lead and need just 6 wins from their last 17 games to be sure of promotion. At the other end of the table, Pinellas Park are already down and Sandy Springs would need the miracle to end all miracles to avoid joining them, being as they are 16 games off safety with only 17 left. And so to the West. One issue has been resolved at the bottom with Wylie relegated, but the remaining 5 teams are still within 5 games of each other. Loveland currently lead with Paradise Valley 2 games back followed by Sioux Falls (2 1/2 behind), ourselves at Rockford (3 back) and Azusa (5 off the lead). It certainly looks likely to go down to the final series and maybe even the final game. |

In the end it was Paradise Valley who finished the strongest in the West to clinch promotion by 3 games from Loveland. Here at Rockford we ended with an 83-77 record in 4th. It was Azusa who were the unlucky team to go down particularly as they finished with a winning record and the best Run Difference in the division. In the East I would congratulate Clarksville on promotion but they're a bot so there's no one to congratulate. Suffice to say I'll be supporting Paradise Valley as representatives of the human race in the playoffs. Statistical highlights for Rockford included Mariano Rodrigues' 204 hits, the most since 2026, and Rodrigo Cabrera's 40 Home Runs, the highest total since 2043. Overall, I think we can have a fair degree of optimism looking ahead to 2062 as the team isn't too old and shouldn't need much tinkering with to try to find those few extra wins to turn us into real contenders. |

Bummed we blew our lead in the west down the homestretch of the season. Just couldnt get the bats going. Looking at the league awards this season, It's pretty wild we had 6 gold glove award winners. Not sure I've seen that many from one team in the same season. |
