ambauer88 Joined: 02/09/2015 Posts: 53 Inactive	So I scroll to the all league page expecting to see my fantastic catcher get some recognition despite the poor season my team had (demotion due to rebuild after taking over at the All Star break). Instead, I find some other schlub has taken the Catcher spot. ambauer88 Joined: 02/09/2015 Posts: 53 Inactive	Which is outrageous since it's not within the batters control persay. Example, Hurley spent most of his time either leading off or in the 2-spot in the order. Not to mention missed some games due to injury.

newtman Joined: 11/02/2013 Posts: 3343 Inactive	That last part may also play a role, the other guy played in 35 more games and had a similar number more hits. Injuries can derail a season, they suck, but they happen.

MukilteoMike Joined: 08/09/2014 Posts: 3294 Inactive	Think of it this way-your guy didn't have enough at bats to qualify for the batting title, so he probably doesn't have enough to be all league. That being the case he likely would have needed all world numbers or have no other viable candidate. The other guy had a fine year; I would have voted for him.
