| Does it randomly select from the still-developing players? Does anything affect how many will gain skill that week? What about manager effect on training? | ||

| I think Seca already answered this in the another thread, but all players (with capacity to grow) train every period. But they increase at the sub level (12.1 Hitting -> 12.2 Hitting), so you don't always see the results right away. It can take several weeks to see any improvement on a given player. Young players develop a little slower. So its not unusual to see a 17 year old only gain 2 SI for a whole season. |
