Other factors (like weather, fatigue going into the game, etc.) go into it. Its possible that the guy was fatigued. He only has 13 stamina. Same thing with Cannon in the first and second games. He only has 12 stamina. Third game is more surprising. Are you sure he was at full stamina going into the game? I noticed that Leal was injured at this time so maybe he pitched up a spot? In general, given you are only using a 4 man rotation and a lot of your pitchers have lower stamina, you are probably going to be going into a lot games with guys less than full stamina. This means they can't pitch as long. Looking at your staff right now, it looks like you have some serious fatigue. If you had four guys like Walker, or you hooked your pitchers early you might be ok. But giving high pitch counts to pitchers with marginal stamina in a 4 man rotation really is a recipe for disaster. I'd find a #5 to throw into the rotation. Shafer could eat some innings for you, and a sub 5.00 era is perfectly fine for a #5. Also, I noticed you have a lot of young studs that you are playing in the majors. This is going to kill their development. These guys could be aces in your staff in a few years if you leave them down in the minors to develop. Put them down and replace them with scrap from Free agency. There are plenty of cheap veterans out there who are better than the rookies you are stifling. If you see this He seems a little overmatched at this level of competition. Than you really should have them down in the minors. Andersen can become a monster with a couple more years in the minors.Updated Wednesday, February 11 2015 @ 5:54:32 pm PST |

McCauley who is scheduled to go next is only about 2/3 to 3/4 rested. Updated Wednesday, February 11 2015 @ 6:22:33 pm PST |

As for all the youbg players, I don't have the choice : since the team was composed of old expensive players and the finances were at -10 millions ... So I had to release them and take what was in the minors ... Right now, I'm -3 millions so I'm getting there ! When I will be able to sign free agents again, I will put them back down in the minors... |

Close game, tying run on deck. http://brokenbat.org/game/1584413 Same as previous game. http://brokenbat.org/game/1584285 Same reason here too. http://brokenbat.org/game/1615789 And here too. Also for the player's developpment, I've found a few of my players have had huge SI gains over the small amount of time in the majors, whic wouldo taken a lot more time in the minors ? Don't you think so ? http://brokenbat.org/player/93087 He got 50 points in a season in a half http://brokenbat.org/player/93428 30 points Updated Saturday, February 21 2015 @ 6:09:31 am PST |
