| Has anyone run into a case where a player's recommended minor league level seems a ways off? I picked up http://brokenbat.org/player/91613 at the end of last season and he still "seems at little overmatched" in A ball at 22 with a 75 SI ... seems a little odd when I have an 18yo with a 38 SI that has "learned all he can" in rookie ball ... or to compare the same position I have another minor league OF that's "supposed" to be in AA with a 1 higher SI (2 years younger + 2 less potential) |

| Some players do that. Some go way faster than makes sense too. International players especially tend to stay down longer. | ||
