Today he went the distance throwing 158 pitches, giving up 13 hits, 3 walks, and 8 runs. Is that a bug or do people set much more conservative pitch limits to avoid this? | ||

Possibly related, I had a reliever who has a hook of 3 and a pitch limit of 25 who hung in there through a 6 run bat around, and then finished the game ending up with 69 pitches. Game #1377023. My bull-pen had seen some work, but they weren't all exhausted, and several have + usage. Figured my new manager was trolling me. |
