They know what they need to improve and I'm confident they will be a playoff contender for years to come now. Thank god. |

I know it's mostly the latin players bringing the flair and I like it. I hope it spreads. It's like the stare down after a break-away dunk, spiking the ball in the endzone, celebrating after a goal in soccer. Too often the corporate rulers of the games stomp down on the individual celebrations to curb the player's self-promotion but yet favor their own league-wide promotion. It's human emotion and I think it works great for TV. Once that corporate money got involved in NASCAR, the drivers turned bland and the sport's popularity waned. The NFL is seen as a faceless monster cashing in over the bodies and minds of ex players. So what say you? Do you like the showmanship? Do you mind the self-promotion? (to be fair, Bautista's seemed more in-the-moment emotion) |

If I just gave up a tater I would be watching the ball. Or staring at my feet. Or frowning at my pitching coach. Or eyeing up some girl in the stands. The last thing I would be looking at is the guy who just went yard. Jays fans are feeling good I think. Shook off the 23 yr jitters in the first series. That Cecil injury is huge tho. |

Hardly ever. In tennis, when someone hits a vicious winner does the opponent go crazy when the victor pumps his fist? A guy sacks a quarterback and dances like a fool. So what. Grow up. I wouldn't do any of that, but that's just my personality. Barking at the pitcher or vice versa is uncool; a simple celebration is fine, in my opinion. Toronto vs. KC. Go Royals!!!! Cecil being unavailable is pretty big with all the leftie bats. Since the Royals have the sweet RSRLSLRLR order, though, it probably isn't quite as big as it is with most teams. I'm still glad KC doesn't have to face him; he's nasty. The biggest question marks are Price and Cueto. If one falters and the other is as good as they can be, that will probably lead their team to victory. Johnny be good! With that nice 5-0 game one, I definitely like my Royals. |

That, and I've had enough of superheroes for one October. Though my great uncle's probably laughing it up, if he's still kicking. Updated Wednesday, October 21 2015 @ 3:50:29 pm PDT |
