I'm very curious to see how Yost sets the rotation. I'm guessing it will go Cueto, Volquez, Ventura, Young, but Johnny has been all over the place so who knows. Personally I would go Volquez, Cueto instead to get Cueto at home both games where he seems to do better. Let's go Royals!!! The first 45 years, two AL championships. Now back to back. Love it!!! |

I was shocked when he didn't enter the game in the eighth. The Jays had the top of the order up, so why not bring him in. No, you wouldn't do that in the regular season, but this was anything but a normal game and situation. I was hard on Yost from the first pitch to Revere and obviously lost my mind when Bautista crushed one. I love how he's handled the team and the bullpen, so I felt bad questioning him. Now I wonder if there was more to it. Maybe he had info about the rain and didn't want Davis to have to deal with pitching on both sides of the impending rain delay. If that was his reasoning, I suppose I'll give him a pass. If that wasn't it, man, I just don't agree with it. |

If that was his reasoning, he made a complete hash of it - giving up the HR and splitting Davis. The last inning of play summarized the series perfectly IMO. KC - BB - single, run scores from 1st TOR - BB - SB - SB - BB - SB - ... |

KC had at least one homer in 5 of the 6 games, while Toronto only had homers in 3 of the 6. If you knew that going in, there's no way you'd pick Toronto to win. They had to outclub KC to have a chance. The World Series should be interesting. The Royals are fantastic fastball hitters, so I like how they match up against the Mets hurlers. It could easily end up riding on how Cueto pitches and I admit that's a scary thing. |

I'm predicting the Mets will score three. How will my beloved Royals do against Thor? This surely will be the most hair ever between opposing starting pitchers in the World Series. | ||
