The GM for the Hitmen had this to say about the teams amazing season. “In a season where we started the year bringing in six true rookies, four in the field & two to the pitching staff, we really weren’t sure how this season would go. We thought maybe we could finish around .500. In a division that has a lot of really good teams, we just outperformed all expectations.” Now it’s time to RAISE THE BANNER & POP THE CHAMPAGNE!!!

After going 111-49 in the regular season, The Hitmen defeated the Strongsville Prowlers in six games to win the title! After clinching the title, manager Rickey Ryan said “After finishing in second place with 86 wins in 2053, and second place again in 2054 with 99 wins, I knew this was going to be a special season. It didn’t start out that way though, as we started the season 20-17. After that everything just clicked for this team and I couldn’t be prouder of these guys!”.
