Feb 17 2036: 2036 Spring Training - by oreohowell on May 10th, 2018

Many members of fan base have been wondering what will the upcoming season bring? Will another winning season be in the cards or will the club stumble and return to the bottom of the league? Under the current ownership the team has had a winning record 3 out of the 4 seasons, and that one losing season was the first year of a rebuild. Ownership was quoted, "We are very happy with how far we have come as a organization, but we know we can be better. Our goal is to be the best and we always are trying to make the team better with each move that we make. We were sad to see Atkins, Burt, Byrne, and Romero leave but it was time for them to move on. Hopefully some of our young arms are ready to make the jump and either Rivera or Wall will start hitting like we are expecting." The Raptors enter 2036 with the highest ranking they have had since the ranking were in place at 372 and a rating of 87.36. The fan base is hoping for another winning season and hopefully a championship around the corner.

April 10th, 2035 will be remember for a long time in the Raptors organization. For this is the day that Nick Fusco pitched a perfect game in Cup play. "This is incredible. I hope that I will be able to do this may more times this season," Fusco said. The 30 year old pitcher has been with the organization since he was 18 years old. The Raptors put up 6 runs behind the three home runs from three different players. Congrats to Fusco and the Raptors.

Mar 12 2034: Fresh Start For Raptors - by oreohowell on October 18th, 2017

As the 2034 season is just around the corner, the management of the Raptors were in a good mood. Manager Daniel was in high spirits as spring training is coming to a close soon. "We have a plan in place and we are entering the second year of it. Last season had many highs and lows. The bats were alive, but at times the bullpen was dead on arrival," Daniel said. Many feel that if the bullpen performs better and the bats perform about the same then their is a good chance the team will improve on the 84 win season.

Feb 19 2033: Raptors Return with New Purpose - by oreohowell on July 27th, 2017

Elkhart returns to League VI with a new sense of purpose. "We want to get better. Every day and every season with the intention of being one of the best teams in the country." Management was quoted. The Raptors have moved up the ranks from 673 at the end of '31 to entering this season at 506. "There is a plan in place and now we have to execute it." said Manager Russ Daniel. Hopefully with the new players the team will keep moving up the ranks.

Feb 19 2032: Elkhart enters a New League with New Hope. - by oreohowell on May 11th, 2017

Elkhart enters the new season with hope for the future. Management felt that the team was getting too old to compete but surprising many fans the group of salt old dogs made a final run for the league championship. After losing the championship series changes needed to be made to the team in the form of youth. With the retirement of many of the core group and a minor system that was depleted, the wavier wire and free agents was used to great effect. Management expressed that many of the staff are filled with hope, as many new faces are joining the organization. Only time will tell if this strategy will pay off or if it will be disaster.
