The Warriors just called up left-handed pitcher Shawn McCoy. He will be taking the spot of Stanley Sexton, who was released this morning. According to AAA manager Brian Pickard, McCoy has a repertoire of 5 pitches, which he can throw at many different speeds and locations. McCoy has yet to pitch this season outside of Spring Training.

Today in a Spring Training game against Frederick, pitcher Josue Marquez struck out Joaquin Valenzuela, Victor Quintero, and Jalen Matthews on 9 pitches in the 7th inning. Marquez went on to strike out Julian Pacheco on 4 pitches before being replaced by Matt Radford.
