Notes: Limited to only 11 seasons because of injuries and poor performance, Emilio Bertran was forced to retire at the age of 33. In his 11 seasons, however, he was excellent.

He was awarded Rookie of the Year in his first season, and the awards just kept piling up. He finished with 4 All-Stars, 2 All-Leagues, 1 Gold Glove, and 1 MVP.

Notes: Jose spent 17 years in the Fayetteville Organization. Most of that time was spent as the cornerstone of the Athletic outfield in CF. Not only was he tremendous defensively, his swing was one of the most devastating in league history. When he finally hung up the cleats, his 290 career home runs put him at 7th on the all-time leaderboard.
