#7 - Ken Hahn [ID #8402] SS |
Home Town: Austin, Texas School: none |
Hall Of Famer Bats (S) Throws (R) Positions: SS |
|
Games 3706, AVE .270, OBP .323, SLG .388, OPS .711, H 3845, 2B 709, 3B 118, HR 245, RBI 1610, SB 73 |
Notes: During an amazing 20 year run with the club, Ken Hahn was a steady presence both in the field and at the plate. The 8 time All Star hit over 240 HRs in his career. While Ken was hitting his peak so was the club as he was on the 2012 Club that made it all the way to the Legends Division for the first and only time in Club history. |
#15 - Eddie Flowers [ID #125830] 2B |
Home Town: Grand Forks, North Dakota School: none Drafted: 2026, Round #4 by Pembroke Pines Gators |
Hall Of Famer Bats (S) Throws (R) Positions: 2B |
|
Games 1978, AVE .258, OBP .321, SLG .437, OPS .758, H 1890, 2B 414, 3B 53, HR 266, RBI 1012, SB 392 |
Notes: During Eddie Flowers' 14 year playing career, all with the same club, he displayed a high level performance both with the bat and the glove. He played nearly 2,000 games at 2B and SS, with a career field percentage of .965. This two time All Star is being recognized for his consistent performance and steady influence through a period of less than stellar results for the club. |
#20 - Prince Lane [ID #39370] OF |
Home Town: Folsom, California School: none |
Hall Of Famer Bats (L) Throws (L) Positions: OF |
|
Games 2026, AVE .263, OBP .329, SLG .476, OPS .805, H 1837, 2B 383, 3B 162, HR 260, RBI 980, SB 514 |
Notes: The "Prince of the Right Field Lane" did a bit of everything. He was a masher who understood the value of getting on base, he was a terror on the bases with over 500 SBs, and he had over 200 outfield assists. With fellow hall of fame teammate Ken Hahn, Prince led the team to their only two seasons in the Legends division and was a cornerstone of the club's heyday. |
#24 - Xavier Valencia [ID #38047] OF |
Home Town: Concepción de la Vega, Dominican Republic School: none |
Hall Of Famer Bats (L) Throws (L) Positions: OF |
|
Games 3428, AVE .272, OBP .334, SLG .414, OPS .748, H 3123, 2B 595, 3B 208, HR 206, RBI 1445, SB 422 |
Notes: The X Man is the definition of consistency and reliability. Playing well into his 40s, Valencia hit over 200 HRs, but rarely had a single season with more than 10. The 7 time All Star was yet another lynchpin of the Legends Division teams of the Club's prime. |
#28 - Lane Hyatt [ID #259811] SS |
Home Town: Atlanta, Georgia College: Georgia Institute of Technology Drafted: 2049, Round #1 by Pembroke Pines Gators |
Hall Of Famer Bats (R) Throws (R) Positions: SS 2b |
|
Games 1542, AVE .255, OBP .316, SLG .368, OPS .684, H 1391, 2B 318, 3B 43, HR 70, RBI 508, SB 194 |
Notes: When you think of Lane Hyatt's career one word comes to mind "Consistency". It may not sound like the most flowery of adjectives, but when you hold down the most demanding defensive positions for an incredible 10 seasons, winning 3 Golden Gloves along the way, consistency is of immense value. The All Time club leader in Double Plays and an all around leader of the club through 2050's and 2060's, Lane will always be remembered for his contributions. |
#31 - Toby Essert [ID #183469] 3B |
Home Town: West Haven, Connecticut School: none Drafted: 2037, Round #4 by Pembroke Pines Gators |
Hall Of Famer Bats (R) Throws (R) Positions: 3B OF 2b |
|
Games 1768, AVE .301, OBP .364, SLG .431, OPS .794, H 1993, 2B 417, 3B 79, HR 94, RBI 723, SB 596 |
Notes: Toby "Ironman" Essert had what can only be described as an amazing career with Pembroke Pines. Across 12 seasons, playing at 3 different levels and at every position with the exception of Catcher and Pitcher, Essert's contributions and consistency were legendary. He is 4th on the club's All Time Hits list. 5th on the All Time Double's rankings. And, of course, he is the All Time leader in career SB's at 596, a record that is unlikely to be eclipsed for a long, long time. He also holds the club's single season SB record of 83 in that magical 2047 season. This is one of the easiest, first ballot HOF selections in the club's history. |
#53 - Mariano Valentin [ID #258371] OF |
Home Town: Honolulu, Hawaii College: University of Hawaii Drafted: 2048, Round #2 by Pembroke Pines Gators |
Hall Of Famer Bats (S) Throws (L) Positions: OF 1B |
|
Games 1989, AVE .269, OBP .322, SLG .505, OPS .827, H 1913, 2B 579, 3B 56, HR 330, RBI 1192, SB 260 |
Notes: What can be said about Mariano that hasn't already been said by every Gator fan. Making his debut with the club right after the relocation to Florida, Mariano was the backbone for the first dozen years in the new location. He led the club through multiple promotions and nearly into League 2. He is in the top 10 of most offensive categories all time for the club. After 5 All Star appearances and 2 Golden Gloves (and being absolutely ROBBED of the MVP in 2053) this is one of the easiest HOF inductions the club will ever make. |
#67 - Luis Santos [ID #187689] SS |
Home Town: Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic School: none Drafted: 2038, Round #2 by Pembroke Pines Gators |
Hall Of Famer Bats (R) Throws (R) Positions: SS 3b |
|
Games 1275, AVE .268, OBP .312, SLG .487, OPS .798, H 1349, 2B 309, 3B 43, HR 236, RBI 836, SB 92 |
Notes: Luis Santos spent a productive 9 seasons with the club, being one of the steady leaders that helped relocate the club to Pembroke Pines. With a solid glove and good speed, Santos really did his damage with his bat. Hitting 236 Career HRs and just under .800 OPS in 1,275 games. 4 time All Star, twice All League, most feel he was robbed of a Gold Glove in 2048 and an MVP in 2047. Santos also appears on several Franchise All Time Best lists, 2nd in Game MVPs, 7th in Home Runs, 4th in Double Plays. |
#84 - Glenn Andrews [ID #176715] OF |
Home Town: Barberton, Ohio School: none Drafted: 2036, Round #2 by Pembroke Pines Gators |
Hall Of Famer Bats (R) Throws (R) Positions: OF |
|
Games 1458, AVE .279, OBP .330, SLG .459, OPS .789, H 1467, 2B 371, 3B 19, HR 180, RBI 792, SB 5 |
Notes: Andrews was a key member of the core that shepherded the club through the transition to Pembroke Pines and the eventual promotion out of League 6. As a steady, veteran influence Glenn was essentially a team captain and a second coach in the clubhouse. But it's not just his "intangibles" that got him selected to the HOF, he also displayed high caliber performance over the course of his career. Particularly the stretch from 2046 to 2050, where he was selected to the All Star team 4 out of those 5 seasons, while hitting over 20 HRs and lodging nearly 20 Outfield Assists each year. Capping it all off in 2050 with his first Golden Glove award. Glenn is also 4th on the Club's All Time list of Outfield Assists with 175. |
#89 - Tomás Hernandez [ID #181644] 1B |
Home Town: Changuinola, Panama School: none Drafted: 2037, Round #1 by Pembroke Pines Gators |
Hall Of Famer Bats (L) Throws (R) Positions: 1B C |
|
Games 1481, AVE .302, OBP .367, SLG .436, OPS .803, H 1442, 2B 320, 3B 15, HR 96, RBI 686, SB 6 |
Notes: There probably is no better example of "Cornerstone" when it comes to Pembroke Pines than Tomas Hernandez. Drafting in the 2037 season, Tomas stayed with the franchise through the championship season of 2053, an incredible 16 years with the club. His numbers truly speak for themselves, a career .803 OPS in 4,722 ABs. He was a 7 time All Star participant and elected to the All League team 3 times. His 1,442 hits ranks 15th on the all time club list. He is also 15th on the all time list for Game MVPs. He is also the only Pembroke Pines player to have the honor of winning a World Classic title, which he did with Panama in 2048. |
