Broken Bat Baseball
Since im not american and i cant' tell by words what's the very best and the best.. can somebody tell me what's exactly the "chart" of scouting? how can i be sure one "value" is better than another?

Sorry for my not-fine knowledge of words! ^_^

HITTING
- above average overall
- good overall
- decent
- good
- prolific
- very good
- poor
- atrocious
- outstanding
- great
- amazing

PITCHING
- throw all day
- limited to only a few innings
- stamina to be a starting pitcher
- exceptional "name-of-pitch"
- major league "name-of-pitch"
- be a strike out pitcher
- his fastball has some pop
- good overall potential
- he's just wild
- his fastball can be unhittable
- his control is lacking

Let's see what we can do. These words are different levels *individual skills*. Instead of breaking it down by Hitting & Pitching, you need more definition.

Please note that if nothing is mentioned about some of the attributes, it usually means 'average'.

Non pitcher (batters)

Hitting (Hitting/Bat Control(?)/Plate Discipline(?):
He will never be a good hitter
Nothing
Above Average hitter
Good hitter
Very Good hitter
Great hitter

Power:
Nothing (less than or equal to average)
Above Average slugger
Decent slugger
Prolific slugger

Speed
He's not very fast
Nothing
Decent speed
He can be a good base stealer

Fielding
He will never be a good fielder
Atroious fielding
Nothing
Outstanding in the field
He can be amazing in the field

Overall
He will likely never make it to the majors (something like this)
Nothing
Above average overall
Good overall
Very good overall
Steve

Pitching

Power
Nothing
Major league (fastball pitches)
Fastball has some pop
Can be a strikeout pitcher
His fastball is unhittable
(these last two might be in reverse order)

Movement
Nothing
Major League (curvall pitches)
He has an exceptional (curveball pitches)

Control
He's just wild
His cntrol is lacking
Nothing

Stamina
limited to a few innings
Nothing
Has the stamina to be a starting pitcher
He can pitch all day

The expected values are still up in the air for me but when it does not mention anything, it seems to denote 9-11, then 12-14, 15-17 and 18+, or something close I believe. Hope this helps.
