I did make drastic changes to my ballpark but I feel that it is not all. My offense has weakened greatly, too much young talent not being successful or just not good enough attribute-wise. My starting pitching has gotten worse and worse over the years. My minor system for starting pitching looks very bleak. I am not sure how my team slowly fell apart, a lack of signings, poor drafting, or just bad luck?

Burris, while a great fielder, has low range for a SS, especially with the turf field. You OF is really deficient in range too. They just aren't getting to many balls. IMO, when I see ERA higher than FIP, it's the defense. You're not walking anyone, so it's the hits killing your WHIP.

You have groundball pitchers, so they would do well in a smaller field anyhow (and NOT turf). Turf is the enemy of ground ball pitchers. SS could certainly use a bit more Range, but you still want someone who can hit. CF definitely needs more range (at least 14-15). LF and RF should be fine with 12 range as long as its a small grass field. |
