Apr 10 2043: Miserable start to 2043, but Coach says "Don't worry" - by Coach Golden McGlover on November 16th, 2019

The Bearcats have gotten off to miserable start, going 1-9 with a team diff of -50 in just 10 games. Despite this the club says "don't worry. We have been doing a lot of substitution in attempt to flush out our Major League roster. That's over now!" Fans should start seeing all their favorite players getting to play the entire game. (As it should be) Only time will tell if this is the real reason for the rocky start.

Oct 24 2042: Post-season rotation??? - by Coach Golden McGlover on October 21st, 2019

In a somewhat surprising decision, McGlover announced today that he will be giving the ball to Stephen Newton for 1. 22 year old Newton is in his 1st full season. He is 8-4 with just 6 starts. He has posted a 2.98 ERA, 1.326WHIP with 65BB & 62K. However,he has held opposing hitters just a.207BAA & .189vRHB. He has been extremely hot his last 3 games going 2-0 with a 1.83ERA, 2.03BAA, 1.169WHIP and allowed just 4ER. Despite the numbers, this decision has proved to be very controversial among Bulls fans. Some say it's about time the youngster gets recognized for his ability, while others point out his youth and lack of experience will cause him to choke in the high pressure of the post-season. Only time will tell and Coach Golden McGlover will be a genius if it works. IF???

Oct 24 2042: Is Jeffersonville too old to win the championship? - by Coach Golden McGlover on October 21st, 2019

Jeffersonville's post-season may hinge completely on whether or not the veteran club can stay healthy. The team announced today that starting LF Jarrod Fowler will miss the 1st 2 games. Hitting .285 with 15HR and 80 RBI in 119 games, Fowler isn't an elite hitter. However, he is solid and a fixture in the bottom 3rd of the lineup. In a normal situation his absence wouldn't that be of a big deal. However, with Danny Rossi MIA, Jarrod's .325 average with RISP will be sorely missed. The pitching staff, which has been great at times, and the young and much depleted bench will have to step up. Depth wise the bench is made up of good prospects, solid fielding and fast. Offensively they are much lacking, though. The light at the end of the tunnel is that Fowler will be back for game 3 and if the series goes to game 6, Rossi will be back. The bottom line is, assuming the Bulls ageing roster stays healthy, the longer the series goes the better chance they have.

Go Bulls!

Oct 21 2042: Post season woes begin early! - by Coach Golden McGlover on October 21st, 2019

Jeffersonville took a huge blow in today's game against Edison. An injury to middle infielder Danny Rossi will most likely cause him to miss the post season. The All-Star was released from the team earlier this year, a decision that most believe was a huge mistake. He was re-signed when the new owner took over. Rossi has a .315 average with 24HR and 93 RBI in only 110 games. McGlover said "not only is he a huge part of the offense, but he is a key defensive player and a leader on and off the field". The Bulls are weak defensively, especially at defensive depth in the middle of the infield. He will definitely hurt their chances of a championship.
