Jan 20 2025: Rebuilding - by chol2310 on November 9th, 2015

After a few seasons at 4th division trying hard to promote with most of the crew that achieved the promotions from 6th and 5th division we´ve decided to part ways with some of the veteran players and try to rebuild with the young ones.

There are some players that have been in the majors for a couple seasons now that need to lead the club this next years, as well as Nick Sala and John Cox that were rookies last years, and we have hope that they take another step this year.

It will be a hard process for us but we think is the right thing to do.

Jan 20 2025: Albert Malone & Cliff Summers - by chol2310 on November 9th, 2015

Today is a sad day for the Kennewick Warriors and their fans. We would like to announce the departure of the two best players of the team´s history.

Cliff Summers, Rookie of the year, eight times All-Star, six times All-League and two times MVP leaves the team today. He has been a key piece of this team since arriving at the major team. 11 years with the club and two promotions after, he leaves the club leaving behind multiple club records: Hits: 1678, Runs: 860, RBIs: 1025, HR: 268 and a career batting average of 308. He has played as SS, LF and 2B for the team, as well as DH. He also holds the most RBIs and home runs in a season with 151 RBI and 40 Home Runs tied with Albert Malone.

Albert Malone leaves the team after 11 years with the club, six times All-Star and 3 times All-League. He´s been one of the most prolific sluggers of the team´s history. 906 RBIs and 261 HR, only eight behind Cliff. He also holds the club record of most HR in a seasin tied with Cliff Summers with 40.

We would like to thank them for their great work this years and hope they find a new place soon. It is time to move on.
