Thanks guys!

It was a strange season.
We were playing rookies in increased numbers since the all star break and hanging onto veterans in the minors just to play 7 post season games. We were honestly not feeling overly confident against the very hot Dinos.
Our pitching core is aging so it was cool to get one this season.

Congrats to the Dinos on a very impressive "auto pilot season"!

Welcome to legends Louisville and welcome back to legends Ocean Woods and Mount Prospect .

and of course the legendary champions Bloomington Thunder are back home where they seem to have been forever. Welcome back Private Snowflake great to see you again!

I'm really curious what Private's strategy is here? Signing all the bottom of the barrel hitters who think they are pitchers... Do you have the inside scoop on P -> H training or something?

Thanks all.

And grats to Tombstone. The autopiloting ran into the playoffs. Been in a lot of series, never ran a 5 man rotation before. Our spot starter even got a game. *rolls eyes*

Dinos with a waiver win. Just our 2nd since 2064. (The other a 2-claimer).

One of my missions is to push non-Seca players off our all-time lists. The unremarkable Grant still sits #10 in career wins. Both Rutherford (needs 3) and Plummer (needs 7) will hopefully move past him this season.

Here we go.

Just one call up for Waterloo. Elias not likely to get enough innings to compete for RPOTY. He is important to our future. Rutherford and Duncan are getting long in the tooth.

The other big decision is Henry. His fielding exceeded our expectations. He had 2b last season. We seriously considered moving him from LF.

Has lost the 2b now. Think this is our last chance to move him.

Playing someone without position knowledge at the keystone tanks the season. Not sure we want to do that.

Rough start for Waterloo.

Not as bad as it looks. Pitching was #1 in the league before the last series (#3 now). Positive HR differential. Decent defense. Just no situational hitting. RISP just recently moved over then Mendoza line. Only ahead of Santa Monica's hapless .171 in that department. Also pretty bad luck in 1 run games. Both those stats should smooth out as the season trundles along.

Maybe Bowers is done? Lost a lot of SI this off season. If he's still struggling next Friday he's likely looking for work.

At the beginning of the season we wanted to move Henry to the keystone. Our start was so poor that move would have meant sure relegation. We've righted the ship a bit. Moving forward with that now (he's recently lost his 2b).

Means the end of Ramirez with the club. 5th round 12 pot with "good" hitting. We didn't expect him to be more than a bench player. Leaves with 4 all-stars and an all-league. Nicely done.

Porter gets first crack at the LF opening. Would like better.

We did move on from Bowers. He finishes with 397 saves far and away the most in Dino history.

Stephenson had been chilling in the minors. He's taken over the closer job and has looked pretty good so far.
