Cooperstown came out of the gates strong this year. Although the Season is very young, The Tigers are leading their Division AND Cup Standings.

"I am very pleased with how we started our season out" Says Owner Antalek4429. "But we just started. We are not done yet. Lets hear them bats cracking. Lets throw STRIKES!! And lets keep going."

For the 2nd year in a row Leonardo Rios. Will be the Starting Pitching on Opening Day for the Tigers.

Last year Cooperstown goal was to maintain their LL4 Status since it was the first time they ever been in such a High League Level.

Manager Hoot Medley was asked about how this Season will be different then last for the Tigers. "We are not Rookies to this League no more. We have more consistency. We brought up some young prospects and had to send home some players who had an impact for us last year. We have depth and are comfortable with the players that our on this team. Its a tall task but this years goal is to Win the Division and to go on to the League Championship Game. These teams know who we are now and We are ready to make a run."

This is Hoot Medleys 2nd Season as Manager for the Cooperstown Tigers.

Looks like Cooperstown's Head Manager Kent "Hoot" Medley will be sticking around with the Tigers for awhile longer. Early this morning owner Antalek4429 sat down at a League Press Conference where he stated. "We knew LL4 was going to be a challenge for us. This Team has never saw competition like this on a day to day basis ever in it's history. We signed Hoot as the manager when we were in a huge slump early in the season. Under his leadership this team never backed down from the competition. They almost seemed fearless. I said to myself early in the season that my goal for this team is place high enough in the division to maintain a LL4 status. Although it seemed like a long shot.. We have reached that goal. I believe Kent will be the Manager of this baseball team for a long time. We will rebuild again and we will be Winning Championships again soon!!"
