Oct 12 2032: Phillips' Bat Drives Yellow Jackets past Lions - by Roctober09 on July 14th, 2017

After sweeping the La Grande Lions in 4 games, the Jackets are only 1.5 games back. This effort was in large part due to the bat of Larry Phillips. His performance was crucial to every win. Going 7-13 with 3 HR, 4 R, and 10 RBI, Phillips terrorized the opposing pitchers. With only 9 games left, his bat will play a major role in whether or not the Jackets can win the Western Division.

The 2032 campaign has been a career one for the now 32 year old second baseman. Posting career bests in Runs(84), Home Runs(31), RBIs(120), and OPS.(.847), Phillips' age has not slowed him down. Alongside fellow teammate Matt Donnelly the Jackets could emerge on top of a very tight Western Division.
