Jul 02 2039: Mishawaka Braves - New Ownership - by Dlaw on February 3rd, 2019

The Braves have been a franchise that has seen great success in resent years, but after the passing of the previous owner the team was in disarray. It has been a rough start to the season with the city of Mishawaka being unable to find proper leadership to run the franchise. After months of rigorous research on all the candidates vying for the opportunity to own a broken bat franchise, the search is over. The Braves have announced that billionaire Kevin Millar with be the new owner. Millar is a retired ball player himself who made his money by founding than selling media giant Cyber Media. Millar was announced at a press conference earlier today, here are my biggest take aways.

1. Millar was sure to put emphasis on youth and prospect development. Millar went on to say"if you look at all the successful franchises they build from from the ground up with a core of young players that you plan on keeping around for a long period of time."
2. MONEY MONEY MONEY. Millar assures braves fans the checkbook will be open
3. Millar had on an awful outfit that no billionaire should ever be caught in. Think russel westbrook but if he were a 65 year old white guy.

All in all the future of the braves is in question, with no real background to know how millar will run this franchise. All braves fans can do at this point is sit back and hope things go good, if not be ready to call 93.7 and let them know how you feel. Until then stay warm and go braves!
