Here are some comments from today’s press conference held at 4:30p Ct.
“First off, I wanted to thank everyone for trusting me to run such a great organization. As everyone knows, my first action as Owner and GM is to relocate the Franchise to Collierville, Tn. I want to personally thank the people of Bartlesville for being great and loyal fans and I hope they understand the reason for this transition. Furthermore, I hope they can continue to support us in our new city".
“The people of Collierville have wanted a team for so long and we hope this fresh start is the first step in building a winning Franchise for years to come. Thank you and God Bless”.
Collierville is a suburb of Memphis, Tennessee with a population of roughly 46,000. They will join the Grizzlies as the only other professional sports team in Memphis and it's surrounding area.
