Mar 23 2056: Canfield No hitter in cup action. - by uuatb1 on August 8th, 2022

Waltham’s budding ace Glen Canfield was near perfect as he no-hit the Asheville Aces in the first game of a 4 game cup series.

Only giving up 1 walk, Canfield was in control of all his pitches as he fanned 6.

The perfect game was broken up in the 4th when Severson mistress the ball to first allowing the Aces to have their first runner. The only other blemish was a 2 out walk in the top of the ninth.

A first round pick from the University of Cincinnati, Canfield looks to dominate opposing team this season and if this is any indication he should a breakout season.
