Failure of a Season Ends Humbly for Des Plaines -
by joesox on January 6th, 2024
Finishing last in their division in runs scored and allowing the most runs is usually a recipe for a lot of losses, and that was exactly the case as Des Plaines Demons rolled on to a 100-loss season.
Rolling over 4 starters in the lineup and 1 in the rotation for the 2062 season, Des Plaines was certainly not expecting the best of results however, even manager Warren Bartley was surprised at the lack of competitiveness.
Expect Des Plaines to aggressively pursue veteran players this off-season to fill in the gaps where younger prospects have failed to adjust to the show.

Slow End to a Long Season -
by joesox on August 14th, 2023
With the start of the 2061 season upon us, Demons'fans can feel some degree of hoping having escaped a disappointing end to last season. While the team was in the pennant race up until the all-star break, the subsequent series' losses seemed never ending. While finishing with a solid 87-73 is hardly something to complain about, the season will remain a story of "What could have been?!".

Demon's Turnaround Off to Hot-Start -
by joesox on June 19th, 2023
Following a relocation from downstate Utica to Des Plaines, the Titans-turned-Demons are flying high at 11-5 leading their division. While the team only has a couple of new faces starting in the field, the coaching staff has undergone a complete makeover. Longtime manager Grant McGinnis has moved on in favor of Warren Bartley who comes in with an entirely new staff.
