Oct 28 2037: All Change - by eaquaphin on October 2nd, 2018

After a total collapse in the 2nd half of the season Fountain Valley would like to thank FV hall of fame coach Armando Alicea and for dedication to the team over the last 11 years and want to take this time to welcome Dean Nicholson as our new head coach. Along with a new coach there will be sweeping changes to an underperforming roster.

Jan 15 2029: New Surroundings - by eaquaphin on September 20th, 2016

The management team at the Shreveport Wolverines are happy to announce that the team will be relocating to California. The team have agreed a deal with Fountain Valley to build a new ball park and will move immediately. We would like to give our utmost appreciation to the city of Shreveport and the warm welcome that we always received from the community.

Unfortunately the constant travel to the west coast to face our division rivals took it's toll, to this end we decided that moving out west was in our best interests.

In addition to the Wolverines moving we will changing our minor league affiliates to those closer to Fountain Valley.

Again we would like to thank Shreveport and the greater Louisiana community but we are now looking to the future and to California.

Going forward the team will now be known as the Fountain Valley Generals.

Go Generals!
