Grants Pass makes changes to it's starting rotation, and lineup -
by CameronFrost00 on May 23rd, 2021
Jaime Garcia, Damien Mack and Ramón Bautista all got called up on June 8th (2050). They were immediately put into the starting rotation.
1. Damien Hicks
2. Jack Coats
3. Jaime Garcia
4. Ramón Bautista
5. Damien Mack
With the new changes Damien Mack will get the next start and it will be the first start for 25 year old rookie. Damien Mack has spent 7 years in the minor leagues with 4 different teams. He has pitched in 278 games, won 58, and lost 83. He had 16 saves and a total of 1096 innings pitched. He also had 1039 strikeouts. Jaime Garcia has spent 5 years in the minors with 3 different teams. He pitched in only 246 games and had a record of 53-71 adding 14 saves. He had 581 strikeouts and pitched in 992.2 innings. Ramón Bautista had spent 7 years in the minor leagues all with Grants Pass. He pitched in 371 games, had a record of 66-66, 46 saves, 888 strikeouts, and 1086.2 innings pitched.
With all of the struggles that Grants Pass has had the past few games they needed some new faces to their ball club. With the edition of Juan Trejo the lineup completely changed:
1. CF Schwartz
2. SS Trejo
3. 2B Ferretti
4. 3B Rosa
5. 1B Billingsley
6. C Gonzalez
7. LF Trujillo
8. RF Gibson
9. DH Gaytan
Let's hope they can get back on their feet and win some games going into their three cup game series with Compton starting tomorrow.

by CameronFrost00 on May 23rd, 2021
Owner Cameron Frost: 'Trejo is very athletic and is very young (25yrs old). He will be our starting shortstop moving forward. Alaniz is just a minor leguer right now but has the potential to be a backup outfielder for us in the future.'

Grants Pass fires Will Bigelow, hires Lyle Muller -
by CameronFrost00 on May 21st, 2021
Through not even half a season with Grants Pass Bigelow had a record of 23-21, but with the new ownership of Cameron Frost changes were made.
Bigelow reaction: 'you know when I heard the news that I was being replaced, I was a little shocked, you know. Not even making it half a season with a team, it doesn't look good on your personal record. But with the new owner, changes are bound to happen and I've learned to accept that.'
Muller has not managed a team since the end of 2049 when he was with the Orion Chili Peppers (85-75). Muller's total record through 14 years is 1098-1138 with 9 different teams. His best season record was 89-71 with Augusta Trojans in 2031. Muller signed for $4.10M at age 59.

Grants Pass takes Raul Carrillo (2050, Round 4) -
by CameronFrost00 on May 21st, 2021
Owner Cameron Frost: "Raul is a decent ballplayer that we think can turn into a stud if given proper training and time in the Minor Leagues. He is already above average in every category and he is a decent slugger. So what is not to like about him. We don't want to rush getting him to the bigs but if an injury or something major happens to our DH or Catcher, he will be the first guy we call."
