Press Releases:

Jun 25 2029: Redondo Beach Sharks starts trong due to slugger, top of the rotation - by Vols on October 28th, 2016

Redondo Beach 40-25 start has been led by top of the rotation starters Jacob Messina and Bruce Repetto. Bruce Repetto, a 31 year-old pitcher from Honolulu Hawaii, was a pre-season signing for the Sharks. Since joining the starting rotation for Redondo, he has pitched a 2.11 ERA, 33K, 13BB, in 72 innings with an 8-0 record. Messina, a 27 year-old from Memphis Tennessee, has pitched a 2 ERA, 80K, 61BB, in 125 innings with a 6-3 record. Both pitchers have helped offset struggles from the other 3 pitchers in the rotation. Another player that should be recognized is 33 year-old left fielder Marcos Valenzuela. The veteran has a .335 average with 17 homers. His home run total is 2 more than his previous career best. As it seems of now, Redondo Beach Sharks will have to lean on these impact players, and hope some of their prospects provides the support to stay on top in their league.
