Nov 04 2033: Record breakings!! - by Oudhoffs on October 6th, 2017

First of all the management is proud of the teams achievement of clinching the division.

Having said that there are two players whom excelled beyond standards.

#1 Ed Parisi "all though being a lefty" ;-)
He broke his own great season 32!
Disciplines shattered: Homeruns 52, OBP/SLG/OPS .430/.691/1.121

#2 Elián Vega in his debute season he showed his captain skills by being elected a record holding 19 times MVP

The whole squad is eager to begin season 34!

The Management is delighted with such a bunch of players.

Nov 04 2033: 7th innig to much to handle ;-) - by Oudhoffs on October 6th, 2017

The prestigious title of league champions S.33 V.10 goes to the overall better team the Amarillo Wrangles.

Herewith we congratulate Amarillo with the deserved title.

All respect goes to the players of Baltimore whom did put up a decent match up. However the 7th inning of game #6 was the bottle neck.

After 6 ininngs pitched and the flawless Nicholson there was a 0-2 lead for Baltimore into the 7th.

Nicholson was replaced for Barber due to fatigue, the rest went down like this:
"Top 7th: Amarillo
Barber comes in to pitch.
Hastings hits a home run to left field of 394 feet.
Montgomery draws a walk.
Humphrey is hit by the pitch.
Gruber allows a passed ball. Montgomery advances to third base. Humphrey advances to second base.
The infield draws in.
Halvorsen strikes out.
Espinal is intentionally walked.
Quiles hits a home run to right field of 368 feet. Montgomery comes in to score. Humphrey comes in to score. Espinal comes in to score.
Bass comes in to pitch.
Batista draws a walk.
Driver hits a ground ball single through to left field. Batista advances to second base.
Jenkins hits a double to center field. Batista comes in to score. Driver advances to third base.
Hastings is intentionally walked.
Serna comes in to pitch.
Montgomery lines out to short stop.
Serna throws a wild pitch. Driver comes in to score. Jenkins advances to third base. Hastings advances to second base.
Humphrey flies out to center field.
Amarillo 7, Baltimore 2"

And the series where done.

However the management is proud of the players how the played season 33 with their harts.

Jan 15 2033: 2nd year changes - by Oudhoffs on July 24th, 2017

Begin with an answered call for Xavier Nunez [ID #116518]. He wished to see how the market is. The club decided to give him the chance. Seems he is a hot item with 34 claims deadline 25th July, including a buy-back from us.

Further more after an split even season the focus is more on the defense side. Just to nudge over a more wins then losses season.

The management is seeking to strenghten the core team where possible.

The Management.
