Pirates Clinch West Title! -
by Valmion on January 19th, 2021
Old saying, patience is a virtue, rings true for the Port Arthur Pirates. After two seasons with 97 and 103 wins, only to finish 2nd in their division, this year the team breaks through with a division championship and now spend the rest of the season looking forward to a title series against a very powerful Roanoke team and promotion to Division V next season.

Mike Childs, Hall of Fame Outfielder -
by Valmion on September 19th, 2017
A bright spot in what has become a dismal season for the Port Arthur Pirates, a season that will see them relegated back down to Division IV at it's end, announced today that 34 year old outfielder Mike Childs would be the first entry into Port Arthur's Hall of Fame. Seven seasons on the US National Team, six seasons as a All Star outfielder, MVP and All League center field in 2026, we are honored for Mike to establish the bar for entering Port Arthur's Hall of Fame.

Bryant Walks the Plank! -
by Valmion on September 10th, 2017
After seven seasons of coaching the Port Arthur Pirates, Stacy Bryant was released today. Ownership wants to thank Stacy for coming to an aging team seven years ago and with his awesome player development skills, helped some young players make a difference for a team that needed such. Yet, now, the Pirates find themselves battling to stay alive in Division III, ownership felt it was time to try and give the team a spark, so we wish to welcome Ignacio Rios as the new skipper of the Pirates.
