Nov 04 2031: Warriors Win Championship - by GrizzlyDan on May 4th, 2017

The Wilson Warriors powered past the Oklahoma City Bobcats to claim the VI.6 Championship today.

With two outs and the Wilson faithful roaring and standing in anticipation, Oklahoma City's Fernando Izquierdo grounded a Mario Barraza offering into the third out, propelling Stadium Avenue and Tarboro Drive into pandemonium.

Home runs by Hess and Wilson and an Ace-like performance by Lloyd Hunter paced the Warriors. Hess's 2-run homer in the second inning put Wilson on top for keeps, and Ken Wilson hit a solo shot in the 7th to provide the winning margin.

Jun 25 2031: Youth movement begins in Wilson with arrival of Landon Israel - by GrizzlyDan on March 31st, 2017

Warriors Manager Bernardo Saucedo announced the long-anticipated big-league callup of outfielder Landon Israel today. Veteran Luis Molina was released. The club plans to enshrine the 6-time All-Star in the team Hall of Fame.

" He's a very promising kid," Saucedo said. "He will be the starting centerfielder for this team for a long time, starting tonight in Oklahoma City."

Apr 02 2029: Grizzlies Power Past Bombers, Walk Off In Rubber Game - by GrizzlyDan on October 5th, 2016

The Wilson Grizzlies showed off their muscle in the clutch with two pinch-hit, extra-inning homers last night to take the rubber game of the three-game set with Hilton Head. Down 6-4 in the 11th with two outs, offseason acquisition Xavier Hastings belted a two-run homer to tie the score, then reserve stalwart Wayne Farley ended it with a tape-measure shot into a tumultuous crowd. The win puts the Grizzlies in an early tie for first place with the Quincy Patriots.

Nov 01 2026: New Owner for Gulfport! - by raygen12 on April 7th, 2016

The new owner for the Gulfport baseball team is Jordan Randall. He is very proud to be the new owner of this organization. Jordan is looking forward to making a ton of changes to improve this organization. He will be making a lot of changes and some have already started. Jordan changed the mascot of the major league team, the AAA team, the AA team, and the rookie team. The Gulfport Sharks are now the Gulfport Grizzlies. He is not counting out relocation for any teams under the organization and is looking at many options. He is also looking to improve the team so he will be dropping and signing players left and right. He has already dropped a veteran 2B that was already in his 30s with a contract over a million.

Here are some comments made by Jordan Randall himself.
Jordan Randall on the future and on relocation.
"I am excited for the future of this organization, I will definitely look into relocation though if it will help this ball club.
Jordan Randall on roster changes.
"There will definitely be an overhaul of the roster, when I say that I mean don't be surprised if someone is let go or if I am very aggressive in waivers and free agency.
