by rivalmejr on June 18th, 2024
Today, the Hillsboro Pikas say goodbye to longtime manager Robbie Chamberlin. The departure marks the beginning of Hillsboro's rebuild, after a long stretch of struggling to promote out of the III.1 league. Hillsboro said goodbye to many long time Pikas and has already hit the offseason signing a plethora of young players to bolster the future of Hillsboro. The team is hopeful they can right the ship and get the team back to its former glory in the coming future.

A fond farewell to the other hot corner -
by rivalmejr on August 3rd, 2022
Recently in the 2056 offseason, Hillsboro released Emiliano Martinez who played for the team over 5 years as the starting first baseman. Today, March 10th of 2056, Hillsboro says goodbye to their other first baseman Willie West who played platoon for Martinez.
Both Martinez and West were part of the 2053 League VI Pennant winning team. West provided a solid bat against lefties and Martinez won an all star and all league selection on top of two gold gloves during his time in Hillsboro. Hillsboro can't thank the first baseman duo enough for their contributions to Pika baseball. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Wheels and Emart!

A Season to Remember
With the 2055 Broken Bat Season coming to a close the Pikas found themselves atop of the V.2 Western Division with a dominant 104-56 Record.
