Apr 07 2068: Indians Hold lead yesterday against Koi, Looking into second week of Cup, - by praisedalord on February 21st, 2025
After a sturggling time all week for the rotation and the bats, the Indians hold out yesterday for a win against Koi yesterday. Claudio Abreu who pitched 8 IP yesterday, as Marc Ryan came in with the save at the end of the game. "I think, ending off the week, being 3-7 isn't the best, but winning the last game before the cup, now I think that is a win. I'm proud of our guys, we just don't have the right bats and the right set of arms right now, and we need to figure that out otherwise it's not going to look good." sais Manager Trevon Newton.
After going into the first half with 2-2 on the board, what do you think is next for the Indians in the second half of the cup?
"I think, you know after Koi yesterday, I think we need to get our bats moving and our arms going, I think if we get that down, I think were going to be solid." said New Bench coach Vince King
"I think yk, after the first one I pitched, I think I'm expecting kind of the same thing, we just need to go out there as a team and not a one man show, I think we can get cup this year and I think we got it down" said Starting Pitching #16 Daniel Aguilera.

Mar 06 2068: Spring Training and goals, King signed to be bench coach, Whose gonna take center? - by praisedalord on February 10th, 2025
"I think coming into spring training, with a new city, and a new face, and a different attitude, I think this is the year for us, you know we were really close last year, we grabbed a good GM to cover for our wages and stuff, but yeah man, I think we got the resources this year and I think were gonna be great! It all depends on the players and if they feel the same way" said Manager Trevon Newton, which will be his 4th season as a manager on the Indians/bobcats.
"I think, going into last year, we had a mindset of getting to the finish, I think this year, we have a mindset of wining." said #51 DH Yasmany Bauta.
On Sunday, our former Bench coach Morris Geiger was let go of, the GM has yet to tell the press why, and that the newly bench coach is former third base coach of the Apple Valley Raccoons, Vince King, who was signed as of today, to be the bench coach. The Indians will introduce him soon enough.
Dealing with the bench all season, and the GM making small progress on building the team and adding back up catcher #64 C Lorenzo Pacheco, the team hasn't figured out who would play center, since 1B #44 Rico Duncan has decided to stay at first for the season, the Indians have made two decisions on who will take over in center, it will be between OF #86 George McCall or OF #70 Greg Barnes. Barnes, didn't have a decent rookie season, coming up from triple-a. McCall in his 7th season, all as a bench player, is thrilled to be called upon to be able to play center.
