Mar 15 2059: Is this the year for St. Louis Park Cardinals? - by Slickandjake on March 24th, 2023

The owner of the St. Louis Park Cardinals has been lousy. Real lousy. In his 11th season will the team finally break out and earn a promotion? They have quite a few guns, and several young ones at that. The starting rotation will be headlined by veteran Perez and youngster Nunez. The bullpen will have youngsters McGraw and Gulley, but the real question is whether young Stacey Rhodes will also get called up during the season. The pitching staff is looking better than ever, but still has a few question marks on how well they will perform. The offense will have solid veterans such as Covington, McConnell, Umeda, Adkins, and Vazquez, but also feature a lot of good young up and coming talent in Jeong, Allen, Andujar, Benetiz, Smiley, and Gannon. Are the youngsters ready and can the veterans play at a high enough level? This just might be the season to promote, and may make the start of a decent ascent in divisions if the youngsters pan out.
