Press Releases:

Jan 15 2036: Indy Top 10 Prospects (2036) - by Bridger on May 8th, 2018

1. SP Lenny Hudson AAA (2031 Draft, Rd 3)
15-pot SP with a strange build and screwball as his primary pitch...might be a bust, but big potential!

2. 2B Devon Strickland AA (2030 Draft, Rd 1)
Franchise cornerstone. Only thing that keeps him from #1 is slow progression through minors.

3. CL Albert Fenton AAA (2032 Draft, Rd 2)
Should anchor the major league pen for 10+ seasons.

4. SU Curtis Heath AA (2033 Draft, Rd 4)
Will hopefully pair with Fenton for a dominant decade of late inning relief.

5. DH Larry Sterling AA (2031 Draft, Rd 1)
DH of the future has big offensive potential.

6. LF Arturo Aguilera AAA (2032 Waivers)
Should reach the majors at a young age and provide big offense from LF for a long time.

7. CF J.P. Albert AA (2033 Draft, Rd 6)
Defense-first CF will hopefully hit enough to stick in the lineup.

8. SP Edgar Cole Rookie (2036 Draft, Rd 1)
This year's first round pick, Cole should be a solid starting pitcher once he develops.

9. SP Ian Gould Rookie (2035 Draft, Rd 3)
Gould has great stuff. If he can throw enough strikes, he will be a solid SP for a long time.

10. 1B Luis Garcia Rookie (2035 Draft, Rd 2)
Big offensive potential puts last year's 2nd-round pick on the list.

Honorable Mentions:
Each of Bratton, Lee, and Davidson projects as a big league starter for 7+ seasons.

3B Norman Bratton AA (2031 Draft, Rd 6)

C Bill Lee A (2035 Waivers)

SS Robbie Davidson A (2035 Waivers)

Mar 08 2035: Indy Top 10 Prospects (2035) - by Bridger on February 27th, 2018

1. SS Devon Strickland AA (2030 Draft, Rd 1)
Potentially elite on both sides of the ball at SS.

2. SP Lenny Hudson AAA (2031 Draft, Rd 3)
Boom-or-bust pitcher with strange skill build and primary screwball.

3. CL Albert Fenton AA (2032 Draft, Rd 2)
Closer of the future.

4. CF J.P. Albert A (2033 Draft, Rd 6)
Defense-first center fielder who would be the SS of the future if not for Strickland.

5. DH Larry Sterling AA (2031 Draft, Rd 1)
Huge offensive potential.

6. SU Curtis Heath AA (2033 Draft, Rd 4)
Another elite reliever who should pair well with Fenton for years at the back of the bullpen.

7. C Biago Barbieri Rookie (2035 Waivers)
The only 12-pot on the list.

8. LF Arturo Aquilera AAA (2032 Waivers)
Offense-first OF who will reach the majors at a young age.

9. 1B/OF Angel Sanchez AAA (2033 Waivers)
Biggest waiver claim of my tenure will be a solid player for years.

10. 2B Joel MacLeod A (2033 Draft, Rd 1)
14-pot 2B would be higher on the list if not for concerns about his Hitting development.

Honorable Mentions:
1B Rogelio Alcantar AA (2035 Waivers)
SP Lorenzo Briseno AAA (2033 Waivers)
3B Norman Bratton AA (2031 Draft, Rd 6)

Jul 16 2031: Big Rigs Represent at ASG - by Bridger on April 6th, 2017

Indianapolis sent eight players to Wednesday's V.9 All Star Game:

4 Starters
SS Bernie Sullinger
OF Robert Slater
OF Adam Collins
DH Cesar Barron

4 Reserves
SP Ryan Goodwin
RP Lance Lynn
IF Cliff Stephens
IF Adam Wallace

Both Sullinger and Goodwin played key roles in the East's 2-1 Victory.

The Big Rigs SS went 2-4 at the plate and handled 7 chances in the field. He provided the game's biggest moment when he smashed a walk-off RBI double to end the game.

Goodwin, who has been the lone bright spot in the Indy rotation this year, threw 2.2 shutout innings in relief.

The Big Rigs head into the 2nd half with high hopes, sitting just 4 games behind East leader Athens.
