Jan 15 2040: Relocate. Rebrand. Rebuild. - by spenaat on March 8th, 2019

The new brass has shown to be a man of his words.

The team formerly known as the Rome Gladiators, Stallions and Cavaliers has hiked up the Atlantic Coast first thing in the off-season, settling on the embankments of Weymouth Town, Massachusetts.

The shakeup didn't end with just the premiere team, but all the minors affiliate programs were given a complete do-over. The results of the rebrand are as follows:

Major League: Weymouth Town Prowlers
AAA: Middlefield Wendigos
AA: Plandome Manor Loons
A: Center Harbor Hellfish
RLA: Ashland Friars

Sporting a sleek new black and white look, it's clear that most, if not all, ties to both Rome, NY and the Italian baseball scene have been cut.

Aug 09 2039: Transfer of ownership and rebranding - by spenaat on February 13th, 2019

The Rome Stallions announced today a complete shakeup in the ownership. The most immediate result has been the rebranding of the team, now known as the Rome Cavaliers.

The new ownership apparently has grand rebuilding plans, and even hinted at potentially leaving the saturated New York baseball market in the near future.
