Apr 28 2034: Panic Time - by mjhack on November 1st, 2017
Today the Binghamton Bobcats released longtime manager Jesus Benevides and hired Dick Dixon. After one of the slowest starts in history and languishing in last place, owner mjhack made the change. "Bla bla bla... can't fire the whole team." was the gist of the announcement. The Bobcats were poised to be competitive for the pennant this year, but little has worked. Free Agent signee Arnold has done well as the new closer, and the hitting has been acceptable, but the overall pitching has been a major disappointment. With the expected loss of ace John "On" Call for over a month, drastic action was expected. A definite panic move, but a necessary one.
